Sustainable renovation in La Jaurie

At La Jaurie, we take care of the nature and heritage that surround us. The hills of La Jaurie have been inhabited since prehistoric times, as evidenced by the flint arrowheads found in the stream and the vegetable garden. The first buildings on the estate already appear on 17th-century maps.

Today, we continue this story with a respectful and sustainable approach, in order to preserve this unique place for future generations. Our family campsite in the Limousin region is evolving through ecological projects and renovations designed to blend harmoniously with nature.

Our projects already completed

Several sustainable renovation projects have already been launched in La Jaurie:

• -Installation of photovoltaic panels
• -Construction of the Cabin
• -Creation of safari tents
• -Pool renovation
• -Implementation of a water recovery system
• -Roof renovation and replacement
• -Restoration work on old buildings

Our current project: accessible accommodation for people with reduced mobility

We are currently working on creating a PMR-accessible gîte, designed with sustainable materials and ecological construction techniques.

Take part in the adventure

During certain phases of the work, we also welcome volunteers wishing to participate a few hours a day in the renovations and ecological projects of the campsite.
